A wonderful tour with thoroughly selected sightseeing objects for 5 (6) passengers in my minivan or more tourists in a hired (mini)bus.
Having a ride around the city we do seven stops for taking photos at the island of Kipsala and Art-Nouveau quarters, in Moscow forshtadt area and at sad sites of Rumbula and Salaspils and after it walk along narrow streets of Riga.
You’ll enjoy the beauty of Riga architecture, parks and squares and listen to exciting, catching, funny but always historical stories of the city.

ITINERARY
Starting at the port (Central Passenger Terminal) / or another place we’ll:
- First have a longer drive outside Riga to the memorials to victims of fascism in Rumbula where within two days in 1941 25 000 of Jews were killed
- Forwar to the memorial formed onthe place of the concentration camp in Salaspils
- Drive to Kipsala island to see a special view of Riga and to know the life story of J.Lipke who saved Jews from nazis
- Pass through Moscow forshtadt – outskirts o the medieval town tightly connected with Russian and Jewish history of Riga
- Visit Victory park where the great monument for Liberation of Riga from nazis was destroyed in ‘War of Monuments’ 2022
- Walk through blossoming Art-Nouveau quarters to see M. Eizenstain`s unbeliverable buildings
- Have there 7 photo-stops for your bright impressions amd memory
- Upon your wish we have a short stop for a quick snack before the walking part of the tour
Walking in the Old Town we’ll:
- See the Freedom monument and walk through the Main City Park with the longest name
- See bits of the old fortress of Riga with the famous Swedish Gate
- Pass to the Liv’s square and the Cats’ house to know their secrets, to both Guilds – Small and Big
- Enjoy the medieval architecture of the Three Brothers, the churches of St Jacob, St Peter, St Joan along with joyful stories of them
- Visit the Dome Square and the Town Hall Square with the Blackheads’ House and many other interesting places

If you are 6 in the group the rear seat is convenient for 3 slim people
!Traffic might affect the tour, but I always try to find the time for the Salaspils part of the tour without tough traffic-jams

My tours are often booked by my partners and guests 1 – 1.5 years in advance. It is important especially for those who are on a shore-trip and depend very much on the time of arrival & departure. Please care of your tour arrangements as much in advance as possible!
From my experience of having tours booked with different partners please contact me first before booking about my availability on the day of your tour to be sure.
If you are a cruise-ship traveller please contact me to precise the port of docking. For the ports in suburbs of Riga you have to take a shuttle bus or you can book me for transferring you to the centre. In this case we are able to start the tour even at the transfer time in order not to waste time.
