We start from Riga and drive directly to the national park in which you’ll be able to see the ruins of medieval castles, the museum of Turaida estate, the biggest in the Baltics bob-sleigh track and the biggest in Latvia caves
Climbing to the observation points and walking for the best panoramic views of Sigulda you’ll enjoy the specvial spirit of the place, enjoy it`s leafy nature wonderful on any season freen in spring and colourful in autumn, and listen to exciting, catching, funny or sad but always historical stories of the city.

ITINERARY
We start from the port or your hotel and drive directly to the national park Gauya where we:
- See the ruins of medieval castles that are very many in all Latvian towns and understand what they were for
- Drive down the valley of the Gauya river to see the biggest in Latvia caves and know of their sagnificance
- Visit the museum of Turaida estate, and from the observation ground in Donjon Tower you’ll enjoy the best panoramic view of the park
- Visit the biggest in the Baltics bob-sleigh track and, upon your wish and if possible, you can have a speedy ride down it
- If you with to taste local food, special latvian meals, or local beer you can have lunch in a local Whitch`s tavern.

My tours are often booked by my partners and guests 1 – 1.5 years in advance. It is important especially for those who are on a shore-trip and depend very much on the time of arrival & departure. Please care of your tour arrangements as much in advance as possible!
From my experience of having tours booked with different partners please contact me first before booking about my availability on the day of your tour to be sure.
If you are a cruise-ship traveller please contact me to precise the port of docking. For the ports in suburbs of Riga you have to take a shuttle bus or you can book me for transferring you to the centre. In this case we are able to start the tour even at the transfer time in order not to waste time.
